Smoke Mortem (RWBY OC Villain)

Here is my RWBY OC villain that i spent a month coming up with. Hope you enjoy.

Affilation: Huntsmen (formerly), Unknown anarchist movement , Mortem family
Semblance: Shadow Stalk( can fuse with his shadow)

Appearance: Smoke is a well built , 6'1 male with long sharp black hair, grey eyes and a tanned skin tone. His outfit is a tri weave armor plated hoodie with black fingerless gloves. On his legs are black cargo pants adorned with knee pads and black and red shoes. There is an insignia of a manticore on the front of both of his gloves.

Weapons/Fighting style: Smoke's primary weapon is a gun stock war club that turns into a sniper rifle named Talon. He has demonstrated numerous times to be adept at swordsmanship and marksmanship against human and Grimm. His semblance allows him to gather intel in places he can't reach using the shadow as a entity. He can also use his shadow as a decoy in combat. However it is very weak and when defeated it takes a duration of ten seconds to return. Smoke is also agile and somewhat acrobatic as well as being skilled in various forms of unarmed combat to the point that his parents have considered him a prodigy.

Personality: Smoke is aggressive, intelligent, determined and cold towards anyone affiliated with the governments of Remnant notably Atlas. He's also protective of his family , especially his younger sibling who he regards as the only one he "can't" kill. Around civilians he's sympathetic but isn't afraid to eliminate them if they prove to be a hindrance. His followers have considered him charismatic and outgoing . However, he can also be overambitious; essentially biting off more than he can chew.

Bio: Smoke grew up in Vacuo alongside his younger brother Lotus for most of his childhood. As the oldest, he felt responsible for Lotus's well being and cared deeply for him. Smoke indirectly helped him to discover his semblance and took necessary steps to conceal the evidence as best as he could. The two would then be taken on a Grimm hunt with their huntsman father where Smoke first truly honed his skills; he slew 2 beowulfs, 3 creeps and an ursa without a scratch. In the middle of it, Smoke failed to realize his brother was wounded until later which left him in a temporary state of guilt. He remained by Lotus's side until he recovered and trained alongside him for years under their mother's tutelage. Unlike Lotus, Smoke was a natural when it came to hand to hand combat winning 3 matches in a row.
A year later, he overheard the news from officers that his father was murdered by unknown assailants and grew a resentment towards the police for never discovering who was responsible. While his family lamented the loss, Smoke became cold, aloof and agressive towards everyone who approached him, even Lotus. The investigation would be called off weeks later further enraging him to the point he chose to leave home in the dead of night only to be caught by his sibling. He warned Smoke that vengeance wouldn't bring back their father but Smoke refused to listen and claimed he wasn't just out for the blood of their father's murderers.
As he wandered the rest of Remnant to follow any leads, he witnessed despicable acts of what he saw as oppression and corruption: cops taking bribes, civilians harassed by atlesian soldiers and shop owners being run out of business by corporations like the Schnee Company. Smoke realized he wasn't the only one who experienced harsh treatment at the hands of the government's leaders so he created an anarchist organization from gangs, ex huntsmen, criminals, faunus etc. Their sole purpose is to rip down the foundations of the "corrupt" and let the people rebuild with more humble leaders. Compared to the White Fang however, this organization is smaller and clandestine; making it easier to carry out guerrilla/terrorist attacks without any trail left behind.
